On this installment of AMC Mail Bag (Sunday December 14th 2016) we take the following viewer questions:

Benjamin Otto writes: Hi AMC Movie Talk, I love your show, for me the best in the world. My favorite genre is SciFi, but just the Star Trek or Star Wars movies are good enough for me....why is it so hard for movies like "Battleship, Skyline, World Invasion: Battle Los Angeles, Oblivion, Enders Game, Edge of Tomorrow, After Earth, to be good? What about "Battleship"? Would you like a 2nd movie about Battleship? Thanks for being awesome and keep doing it!

Kamar Tiller writes: Hello AMC Movie Talk, I grew up loving Face Off and True Lies. I love/ loved the the wink at the camera style of True Lies and the insanity of Face Off. What are the chances we could see remakes or even films that are superbly similar? I would love to see these exact movies remade exactly with better graphics.

Luke Saunders writes: Hey AMC, Been watching for so long I can't even remember how I found you! One of my most anticipated movies since I saw the original has been Incredibles 2, and it makes me wonder where they might go with the new instalment. With the original parodying old school hero's in a way, where do you think they could go with the sequel, especially with the worlds ever evolving world love for comic book movies? A second group of heroes in the film resembling the Guardians of the Galaxy? Characters resembling the Avengers? Thanks, keep up the great work!

Harry Green writes: Looking forward to another great show from you guys today. Does Thor loose all of his powers if the hammer is taken away from him? I got into a small debate with a client who was explaining that to me as we were discussing who is more powerful Thor or Superman. Thanks and bring on the filthy.

Jon-Paul writes: Good Morning Sons and Daughters of AMC, I have been a daily watcher since discovering your show nearly 2 years ago. My question is: would you like to see a 3 Amigos remake. It was one of my guilty pleasure movies growing up and I would like to see an adaptation with 3 of today’s comedians. My suggestions for the leads would be Kevin Hart, Will Ferrell, and Ben Stiller. Your thoughts? Thanks and keep up the filthy!

GTT Bayley writes: Is there any truth to the rumor that 23 Jump Street could crossover with Men In Black? I'm not even sure how they could make that work.

Mike Williams writes: Hey AMC! The Return of the King is arguably the most successful film in history if you comine box office, critical acclaim, and awards won. My question is why it doesn't receive more consideration for the title of greatest film of all time?

Sean Murphy writes: Greetings and salutations! Given that "Batman V Superman : Dawn of Justice" has officially wrapped filming, why would Warner Brothers need almost two years to release it? And could they release it early? Thanks and keep up the good work!

On this episode of AMC Mail Bag (Saturday December 13th 2014) we take the following viewer emails:

Louange Mbala writes: Hey guys of AMC, Love the show and can't wait to watch it each week. I was wondering about the new direction that the rebooted fantastic four movie is taking. with them traveling to a different universe, could this ultimately lead them in that X-Men universe, where eventually the two worlds could collide drastically in future movies within the fox comic world? Love what you guys do and keep up the good work.

Jace Ruiz writes: You guys went on waxing poetically on Al Pacino being in a Marvel movie, but there is got to be an ugly truth that has to be addressed: what if he's not utilized well. Sir Ben Kingsley in Iron Man 3 was not an important character. Glen Close in Guardians was a character that anyone could have played. Michael Douglas we can't say since we haven't seen Ant-Man. Rene Russo, not used that well in the 1st Thor movie, then went got interesting in the 2nd film she gets killed off. Only Anthony Hopkins and Robert Redford were used for important roles and made worthy characters for their perspective movies. Just a fear that Al Pacino will fall in the less important character category.

Felix G writes: Hey ho guys! Love the show. I'm a big Jackie chan fan. What are some of tour favorite Jackie chan moments. Thanks and please, keep on rockin that filthyness.

Marcel Putrus writes: Love your show, I watch it everyday on my way to school. My question is: why are writers more significant to TV shows than the directors, and why are the directors in movies more significant to the writers?

Noy Telinú writes: Is there a difference in what is seen as good between pros like you guys who watch hundreds of new movies in theaters a year and most of the general public who watches perhaps 5 a year?

David McKinstry writes: Hello AMC crew! After watching GOTG again last night, I honestly believe it is one of the best movies of the year. I know it won't happen, but should GOTG and Winter Soldier be taken more seriously as Best Movie candidates?

Farouk Mansour writes: My question is about whether or not Martin Scorsese will ever actually make The Irishman? It's supposed to be another film in the gangster genre with Robert De Niro, Joe Pesci, and Al Pacino. I'm a huge fan of these actors, especially when they are in the same movie, and I would Love to see this film get made. And with Martin Scorsese as the director I can hardly contain my excitement. Do you think it will ever happen? And would you be interested in seeing it?

Tom Gillard writes: Hey AMC, Big fan of the show. I am a huge Liam Neeson fan and was just wondering as to what your thoughts were on his what appeared to be sudden change in film genres that he is in and now has become a big action star.
