Edge of Tomorrow director Doug Liman recently appeared on MTV’s Happy Sad Confused podcast to talk his latest movie The Wall, when the director revealed some interesting details about the Edge of Tomorrow sequel, newly entitled Live, Die, Repeat and Repeat. While reiterating that the movie is “a sequel that’s a prequel,” Liman also revealed that the movie will be the final movie in what he describes as a two-movie franchise.

In a report from Deadline via The Playlist, insiders for both Pirates of the Caribbean 5 and Baywatch are blaming Rotten Tomatoes for “slowing down the potential business of popcorn movies.” The report essentially states that critics are ruining what were once thought of as “critic proof” movies; further stating that some of their studio insiders want to hold off on critic screenings until opening day or cancel them all together.

The first trailer for Paddington 2 has been released online. The sequel picks up with Paddington Bear (voiced by Ben Whishaw) settled in his life with the Brown family at Windsor gardens. When Paddington sees a unique pop-up book in an antique shop, he decides it’ll be the perfect present for aunt Lucy’s 100th birthday and starts doing odd-jobs to save up.

Lionsgate has unveiled a new red-band trailer for the action comedy The Hitman’s Bodyguard starring Ryan Reynolds and Samuel L Jackson. The film sees Reynolds as the world’s top protection agent, a man who is tasked with serving as the bodyguard for his mortal enemy, a notorious assassin played by Jackson. Expendables 3 helmer Patrick Hughes directs the movie that also stars Gary Oldman and Salma Hayek. It opens in theatres on August 18th.

THR is reporting that Blair Witch director Adam Wingard has closed a deal to helm Godzilla vs. Kong for Legendary Entertainment and Warner Bros’ Pictures. The director made a name for himself with low-budget horror thrillers such as You’re Next and The Guest, and will next release his adaptation of Death Note for Netflix later this summer.
