In a report from Manabyte and then later confirmed by theater chains AMC and Regal, the runtime for Justice League has been revealed to be coming in at a lean 121 minutes, making this entry in the DCEU the shortest runtime of any DC Film thus far. Though Warner Bros. Home Entertainment released “extended editions” of both Batman v Superman and Suicide Squad, there has been no confirmation that Justice League will get an extended cut later on down the line.

Focus Features has released the first trailer for Paul Thomas Anderson‘s Phantom Thread. The drama is set in the couture world of 1950s London and reunites Anderson with his There Will Be Blood star Daniel Day-Lewis, who stars as a dressmaker to royalty and high society.

THR reports that Platinum Dunes’ Andrew Form and Brad Fuller, along with Michael Bay, have enlisted The Muppets and Neighbors director Nick Stoller to write a live action adaptation of Dora the Explorer for Paramount's new Paramount Players division. The movie kick-starts the project that had been inactive for some time, which is said to center on Dora but not as a seven-year-old like in the series, but now a teenager, who moves to the city live with her cousin Diego.

Pathé and Calamity Films announced yesterday that they have set a February 2018 start date for principal photography on Judy, a biopic based on the true story of Judy Garland’s final concerts in London.

With Thor: Ragnarok ready to hit theatres in two weeks, the press screenings have been slowly rolling out with many outlets praising the film and wondering where the Thor franchise is headed after Infinity War. With a female Thor making waves in the comics line of Marvel, Movies.com asked Feige if there would ever be a chance we’d see The Goddess of Thunder on the big screen someday; a prospect Feige said is a possibility.

In a new interview from Empire, director David Fincher revealed to the outlet some of his thoughts and hesitations about directing a movie set in a galaxy far, far away. Speaking on the Empire Podcast, Fincher says that while George Lucas had it rough on the first Star Wars since it was so ambitious, there’s an entirely new set of expectations that comes with directing a new entry.
